Discover single origin coffee
Single origin coffee comes from one place, such as a single country, region or farm. Because it isn't blended, the growing conditions and processing shine through, so every bag has its own distinct character.
It's a lovely way to explore coffee by taste, from fruity Ethiopian beans to smooth, nutty Brazilian coffee. Every coffee we supply from The Coffee Twins is Fairtrade assured, sourced from small farmers, roasted to order and dispatched within 48 hours of roasting.

Your coffee questions, answered
What is single origin coffee?
Single origin coffee comes from one identifiable place, such as one country, region or farm, rather than a blend of several. It lets you taste the character of where it was grown.
Which grind should I choose?
Choose whole beans if you grind at home. Otherwise, pick cafetière for French presses, filter for pour over and filter machines, or espresso for espresso machines and moka pots.
What's the difference between light and dark roast?
Light roasts tend to be brighter, with more fruit and acidity. Dark roasts are bolder, with deeper roasted and chocolatey flavours. Medium roasts sit in between: smooth and balanced.
What sizes are available?
Our Coffee Twins coffees come in 250g and 1kg bags, so you can try something new or stock up on a favourite.
How should I store my coffee?
Keep it in an airtight container somewhere cool, dark and dry, away from heat and sunlight. Avoid the fridge, as moisture and odours can affect the flavour. Whole beans stay fresh for longer than ground coffee.
