A clean, bright cup starts with a simple recipe. Pour over lets the character of your coffee shine through, making it a lovely way to enjoy single origin coffee.
Your starting recipe
| Coffee | Water | Grind | Brew time |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15g | 250ml, just off the boil | Medium-fine | About 3 minutes |
How to brew
- Rinse your paper filter with hot water and discard the rinse water.
- Add your ground coffee. Pour about 30ml of water over it to wet the grounds, then wait 30 seconds while it blooms.
- Pour the remaining water slowly in small circles, keeping the water level steady.
- Aim to finish in around 3 minutes, then remove the dripper and enjoy.
Make it your own
If the water runs through too quickly and the coffee tastes weak, try a slightly finer grind. If it runs slowly and tastes bitter, try a coarser grind. Change one thing at a time and let your taste buds lead.
